The WorkItOut.com website has been designed with Accessibility in mind.
Design
- Where appropriate, all images have been assigned alternative text.
- Where appropriate, relative font sizes have been used; this will allow the user to enlarge the text size in visual browsers.
- Where appropriate, all links are written to make sense out of the context.
- The use of headings/subheadings, lists and tables have been used to make this site more usable.
- All forms use server side validation and where appropriate the <label> element, making them more accessible by screen readers.
Standards Compliance
- It is believed that this site meets all Priority 1 guidelines of the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, and where possible most of the Priority 2 guidelines.
- All pages are HTML 4.01 validated for better cross browser compatibility.
- We have tried to use Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) as much as possible for layout and presentation. All pages are CSS 2.0 validated.
